Incorporation a business in Ivory Coast involves the following steps:

1- Choose a business name

Choose a unique name for your corporation that does not conflict with any existing business name in Ivory Coast.

2- Reserve the business name

Reserve the chosen name by filing an application with the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM). The application must include a copy of the company’s articles of association and a certificate of deposit from the bank.

3- Draft and sign the articles of association

The articles of association must include the company’s name, objectives, duration, registered office, share capital, and the number and types of shares. They should also outline the company’s governance structure and rules for decision-making.

4- Obtain a notarized copy of the articles of association

The notarized copy of the articles of association must be submitted to the RCCM.

5- Register the corporation

Certificate of incorporation
